Modules and camps for mining in
Santa Cruz
Accommodation and equipment for Patagonian gold and silver mining. Modules that withstand the wind and extreme cold of the south, with logistics coordinated to the site.
Gold mining in the Patagonian south
Santa Cruz is one of the most important gold and silver mining provinces in Argentina. Cerro Vanguardia, Cerro Negro (Newmont) and the Deseado Massif area concentrate operations that work year-round deep in the Patagonian steppe, far from urban centers.
That remoteness and the southern climate make staff accommodation critical: camps must insulate against the cold and withstand the permanent Patagonian wind. We supply modules and camps designed for those conditions, with delivery coordinated to the site.

Gold and silver in the Patagonian steppe
Santa Cruz is one of the strongest gold and silver mining hubs in the country. The Deseado Massif concentrates long-standing operations: Cerro Vanguardia —one of the historic gold and silver mines of Patagonia—, Cerro Negro, operated by Newmont, and a series of projects and plants that sustain activity year-round in one of the least populated regions of Argentina.
Unlike the high-altitude mining of the north, in Santa Cruz the challenge is not altitude but the combination of distance, wind and cold. The sites are deep in the steppe, far from cities, with long access roads and a Patagonian climate that punishes: permanent wind, low temperatures most of the year and conditions that demand well-prepared facilities so staff can work and rest.
That is why accommodation is a central part of the operation. Crews work in rotating shifts and live on site for weeks, which keeps a constant demand for camps, dormitories, dining halls and housing modules. Any structure will not do: it must insulate against the cold, withstand the wind and assemble quickly in places where bringing traditional construction materials is expensive and slow.
Our folding and expandable modules fit that context: they ship optimized, deploy without civil works and withstand the southern conditions with Class A rock-wool insulation and a steel structure. We coordinate logistics across the long Patagonian distances to the site, whether a turnkey camp or individual units to reinforce an existing one. If your gold or silver operation in Santa Cruz needs to scale accommodation, we solve it.
