Vaca Muerta, in Neuquén, is one of the most important shale formations in the world and the engine of Argentina's unconventional oil and gas production. It is not mining, but it shares exactly the same need: thousands of people working in the field, far from urban centers, who must live near the wells and plants during their shifts.
The epicenter is Añelo, a town that went from a few thousand residents to becoming the shale capital, surrounded by areas operated by YPF, Vista, Pan American Energy, Shell, Pampa and many more. Drilling and fracking activity is intense and continuous, and each new well set or treatment plant moves crews that need accommodation, on-site offices and services at the field.
Unlike the Puna, here the challenge is not so much altitude as the Patagonian wind, the dust and the scale: camps must be set up and taken down quickly as the operation advances. Folding and expandable modules fit perfectly, because they ship optimized, deploy fast and can be relocated when activity moves from one area to another.
From Mendoza we reach the Neuquén basin via routes we know well, coordinating the delivery of dormitories, dining halls, bathrooms, offices and complete camps to Añelo and the Vaca Muerta areas. If your oil & gas operation needs to house staff or set up a base at the field, we solve it with modules built for the pace of the basin.
