MODULAR BATHROOMS & SHOWERS — FAQ
- How many people can a modular bathroom module serve?
- The individual module (toilet + shower + sink) is sized for personal use by up to 6-8 people per shift. For larger camps, multiple modules are combined: a configuration of 4 sanitary units can serve 30-40 people in morning and afternoon shifts. The exact number depends on the shift schedule and the comfort standard of the project.
- Do they connect directly to the water and drainage network?
- Yes. The modules come prepared with hot and cold water connections and a drainage point. They connect to the camp's temporary installation or to water tanks and septic chambers in areas without a sewer network. No civil works are required for installation: they are leveled on the ground and the pipes are connected on the same day.
- Are they suitable for high-altitude or extreme cold areas?
- Yes. The galvanized steel structure and hermetic perimeter sealing of the sanitary modules make them suitable for intense cold conditions. For operations in high-altitude areas in San Juan and Mendoza or in Patagonia, we recommend insulating exposed pipes against frost, which we coordinate as part of the comprehensive camp solution.
- What regulations cover sanitary modules in camps?
- Decree 351/79 (Work Hygiene and Safety Regulation) and Resolution 905/15 of the Ministry of Labor establish the requirements for sanitary installations in camps. ARTs verify compliance with these conditions for the authorization of mining and construction projects. Our modules comply with the required construction standards.
