The route

Mendoza is the natural
logistics base for San Juan.

San Juan is home to some of Argentina's most important mining projects. Just 165 km by highway from Mendoza, our base in Maipú is the ideal starting point to supply mines in Iglesia, Calingasta and the Valle del Cura.

We operate this route in both directions: from Mendoza to the mines, and in reverse from San Juan to Mendoza or on to Chile. A single provider for the entire logistics chain.

Frequently asked questions

Freight Mendoza —
San Juan.

Do you transport supplies for the mines in San Juan?

Yes. The Mendoza–San Juan route is one of our main mining routes. We operate continuous supply for active projects like Veladero (Barrick Gold) and projects under construction like Josemaría (Lundin Mining).

Do you reach mine sites in mountain terrain?

Depending on cargo type and road access conditions, we coordinate delivery to camp areas. We conduct a prior route survey for each new operation in high mountain zones.

Do you have permits for mining transport?

We operate with all CNRT certifications required for road freight transport. For special or hazardous cargo (ADR/IMO classification), we coordinate based on the product's safety data sheet.

How long does the Mendoza–San Juan freight take?

Transit between Mendoza and San Juan is 2 to 3 hours via highway or Route 40 Norte. For destinations in the interior (Iglesia, Calingasta, Barreal), times extend based on access.

Do you operate the return route San Juan → Mendoza?

Yes, we operate in both directions. If you need to bring cargo from San Juan to Mendoza — or continue to Chile — coordinating the return with us is more efficient and convenient.

Mendoza – San Juan corridor

Cargo for high-altitude San Juan mining

The Mendoza–San Juan route is about 170 km via RN 40, with a transit of 2 to 3 hours to the San Juan capital. From there we climb to the mountain mining access roads: Iglesia, Calingasta and the area of Veladero, Josemaría, Los Azules and Gualcamayo, where the road turns into high mountain.

Most of this route is mining logistics: supplies, construction materials, housing modules and equipment for the province's gold and copper projects. We move general and palletized cargo and, with prior arrangement, special and oversized loads to the sites.

Given its proximity to Mendoza, San Juan is one of our highest-frequency corridors: we coordinate trips almost on demand. Tell us what you need to move and to which project, and we build the quote within 24 business hours.
